Local Anesthesia
Local anesthesia numbs the specific area being treated while you remain fully awake and aware. It's the foundation of comfortable dentistry and is often all that's needed for straightforward procedures. IV Sedation (“Twilight” Sedation)
Delivered intravenously and carefully titrated throughout your visit, IV sedation places you in a deeply relaxed, dream-like state. Most patients remember little to nothing of the procedure, yet you're able to breathe on your own and respond to gentle guidance. It's an excellent choice for longer surgeries, multiple implants, or anyone with dental anxiety who wants to feel as though they simply drifted off and woke up finished. Because your vital signs are continuously monitored by our surgical team, IV sedation offers both profound comfort and a high margin of safety.
General Anesthesia
For the most complex cases — such as All-on-4® and full-mouth reconstruction — or for patients who prefer to be completely asleep, general anesthesia allows your entire procedure to be completed in a single, restful session. Administered and monitored by our oral and maxillofacial surgeon and trained clinical team, general anesthesia lets us accomplish more in one visit while you rest comfortably from start to finish.

We'll recommend the best fit during your consultation.
Yes. Your sedation is planned around your individual health history and your vital signs are continuously monitored throughout the procedure by our surgical team. Because our care is led by a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon with hospital-based anesthesia training, deeper sedation can be provided safely in our office.
Our goal is for you to feel comfortable throughout. Local anesthesia keeps the treatment area fully numb, and with IV sedation or general anesthesia most patients remember little to nothing of the procedure at all.
If you're receiving IV sedation or general anesthesia, you'll need a responsible adult to drive you home and stay with you for a short time afterward. We'll give you specific instructions beforehand — including any guidance on eating, drinking, and medications — so you're fully prepared on the day of treatment.
We do not accept insurance for these procedures. To keep advanced, comfortable care accessible, we offer third-party financing and flexible payment plans, which our team is happy to walk you through.
